I am frustrated in the extreme. With reference to all the comments in this post, the filament were all Bambu Lab PLA Basic. All of them.
The day started waking up to a print which did not complete because the “can’t feed” warning. I have had several spools from Bambu Labs that have tangles in them and the motors can’t work through it but it only takes the gentlest human touch to get it going. I had to do at lest 20 of those to get that print to complete. So I’m already frustrated.
Then tonight, different print, different spool. I see I am almost out of the filament. So I load up a new spool with a refill of the exact same color of the exact same material from the exact same brand. The printer even will tell me the sequence of which will load next. Sure enough, it runs out mid print. But it gives me the “can’t feed” (tangle) alert. I go check and the tape that held the filament to the spool is preventing it from continuing. How stupid! Designed so that it will prevent a feature from working. But wait, it get’s worse. So I cut off the tape and tell it to resume. It won’t. Tried several times. It tells me it can’t feed. No good reason, just won’t work. So I pull the bowdon tube and remove the filament. I assume it would switch to the other spool. Nope. It refuses. It is telling me I have to reload filament on that spool.
It’s time to get a refund. Bambu Labs lies. The promise features that don’t work. They sell sub-par filament that repeatedly get’s stuck on the spool. They tell us if we load two spools of filament it will automatically swap. Nope, it’s a lie. Does not work.
