I’m sure I’m just missing something here…
I was starting a print with ABS and I knew there wasn’t enough on the spool for the whole print. I loaded a new spool of the exact same filament next to it in the AMS. I selected the near empty roll on the “prepare” screen in Bambu Studio. It is printing from the new spool. I have looked and can’t find the setting where I would tell it which ne to start from. Any idea why it switched to the new spool on it’s own or how to change that?
When you hit ‘Print’, the dialog that comes up shows what it intends to start with. If you click that, you can select a different spool. This is before you hit ‘Send’.
Note: It may have changed in Bambu Studio 2.0 - i can’t run that yet.
The auto-refill is really a nice feature.

For clarity, here is a picture of the Studio drop down when you are sending the print. If you click the little down arrow it will open a menu where you can select which filament to start with.

Thank you! I will look for that when I start my next print.
