Got my new X2D a week or so ago and so far it has been excellent. I have two X1C’s which I rarely use the Aux fan on. With the X2D the opposing aux fans are intriguing however, I don’t really understand how they are controlled?
From what I have read, you can change the aux cooling ramp in the filament cooling tab, but does this affect both sides equally? I also notice strange behaviour, such as right fan 40% during first layer despite setting no cooling for the first 2 layers. It sounds like it has its own logic but I can see circumstances where you would want finite control over these two fans.
Absolutely possible I’m missing something, but if not some additional cooling controls for the aux fans in the slicer specifically would be great. Especially a slice preview screen like “speed” or “fan speed” but for “Aux fan speed”.
Any tips people have for controlling the aux fans would be great.
