Bad overhangs after installing Bambu Studio 1.9.1.66

I recently noticed a decrease in the quality of one of my favorite prints, right after I updated bambu studio. Look at the bottom of this spiral staircase. The one on the left was a previously successful print from a week ago, the one on the right was printed on Friday after the update. The overhangs are all messed up. The only other change in this time was the rainy weather outside. The same settings (speed etc.) & profiles were used for both prints, printed with PLA Basic at a .2 layer height on Slow speed, no Aux fan, with brim. Can I roll back the update to a previous version? Is there a box that is now checked somewhere that shouldn’t be?

Welcome to the forum.

The previous version can be downloaded here.

If you printed the part via the cloud you can use the print history in the Handy app to reprint a version that you had acceptable results with. This would tell you if it is a filament or slicer problem.

Thank you I’ll try that! I did send it from my PC, I’ll see if I can find it in the handy app.

Seems to be a filament problem or something else. Repeating the print from the print history still resulted in artifacts all along the outside edge. I’m going to try some other projects with different filament. Thank you.

You also might double check that your part cooling fan and aux fan are operating correctly. You can toggle them on from Bambu Studio/Handy app and make sure that they function correctly.
