Bad top layers, how do I get 0 gaps?

No it prints extremely better with bambus profile

Can you screenshot the filament profile settings please?
I want to compare them with these

Just the bambu lab profile with no changes. Sunlu is unrelated as this post is only overture and polyterra in my pictures. Dont use sunlu often but with all these flow tests i still get the same results

What i would recommend is to go on the vendor’s website and look at the values they supply - that way you can take out filament out of discussion.

If that is out of discussion then the printer is at fault.

All of those filaments are rated for speeds of 60mms, how do i print faster but not have these issues? Thats what im trying to achieve here. Overture already has a profile for their filament, so i have to tune an already tuned profile? That’s what i dont really understand. I start messing with settings then it gets worse. Dont change anything, doesnt look good.

Usually you raise temp by 5-10% on the nozzle and raise the Volumetric flow rate from 3.5mm or whatever that is, to at least 12-15mm^3. My Sunlu filaments are graded 100mm/s and im running them at 300 easily (21mm^3/s) 230C nozzle / 55C bed

But honestly, fast isnt always the best idea. I ruined many projects that finished on the fast speed. 1 hour extra is no big deal…

im printing now a vase that can easily be printed in 200/300 mm/s out/in walls and i chose to print it at 50/250 mm/s to get the best quality in the exterior. it takes 1 hour more… but still

I think the default for overture is 16 for volumetric. The temps are defaulted to 220° for nozzle. The only real fault is top layers. Im still at work so i cant touch my printer for another hour or 2 at best.

Still unsure what to do with the information youve provided. The max flow rate is in the range of what youve suggested and so is my tempature. Ive printed this same piece at half speed and looks exactly the same. Ive printed it at 50mms and has a totally different look. Too shiny for my taste as regular overture pla is almost matte looking.

This is at 120mms

This is at 50mms and looks like it was stuttering
