WIN 11 Pro, performant PC
Bambu Suite worked well after installation but after some days it is extreme slow, unable to work. The task manager shows 15% CPU and 455 MB Ram in use.
New installation(s) did not help.
Any idea? Is there another forum?

Do you have performance problems with other software? Or only with Bambu Studio?
You can try uninstall Bambu Studio, and delete all temporary files related to program, also in hidden system folders.
You say task manager show 15% usage, do you mean that Studio is at 15% or the total system? If it’s the total system, how much of that % is Studio taking up? Also, how much memory do you have in your system and what percentage is utilized when you’re running studio?
No Problems with other Software.
Taskmanager: Suite (not Studio) is at 15%, Complete System at 25%
Deleting (including all entries in the Registry) and new installation had the same result.
I can start Bambu Suite. After the first entries (text) the software becomes extreeeeeme slow.
I’ve noticed the same. I don’t have a H2D yet, but wanted to check out the Bambu Suite Software already to see how it works.
Bambu Studio runs perfect on my System, but Bambu Suite is very laggy and not really usable at all. Even simple confirmation popups / boxes take multiple seconds to react on a click.

You may be focused on CPU usage, but the issue could be GPU load or OpenGL conflicts. Other forum members have reported problems with both AMD and Nvidia drivers. A full uninstall—especially of OpenGL-related apps—might help. Reinstalling your GPU drivers is also worth trying. That said, run diagnostics first so you understand what’s broken—otherwise you’ll be chasing symptoms and end up right back here after the next update.
Bambu Studio uses the QT framework, which can break after installing other QT-based apps like LibreCAD or Blender. I’ve only resolved similar issues by fully purging and reinstalling.
Full disclosure: I moved to Orca after BS v1.6 due to Bambu’s removal of features I had already paid for and the ongoing drama surrounding Bambu Connect. I primarily ran BS (now Orca) on Windows 10, but the screenshots here will be from Windows 11. While Orca is a far better version of BS, it likely won’t resolve this issue since both are built on the same core. But if I were you, I’d recommend loading Orca at some point and run the two side by side and make your own judgement.
To avoid back-and-forth, sharing your screenshots would help a lot—especially of Task Manager and GPU metrics. It’s very hard to “guess” what’s happening using verbal descriptions, as you know… “a picture is worth…” well… you know the rest.
Some questions that could clarify the issue:
When does the slowdown “exactly” occur—at what point? Is it right after launching the app, or only after loading or slicing a model?
Can you check GPU usage at three stages: before launching BS, immediately after launch (idle), and during slicing or when the slowdown begins?
When viewing Task Manager, sort by GPU % under the Processes tab to see if BS is using the GPU at all.
Remove BS completely and start fresh, Revo Uninstaller does a better job than the built-in uninstaller:
Revo Uninstaller Pro - install Revo Uninstaller Freeware
Direct download: https://download.revouninstaller.com/download/revosetup.exe
Standard uninstallers often leave behind shared libraries like QT or WebGL, which can cause issues. Revo digs into the registry and leftover files to fully clean things up. It’s my tool of choice for its ability to surgically remove entire packages while leaving unrelated components intact. The free version is good enough—but be aware it turns into nagware, with frequent pop-ups urging you to upgrade. Best to use it once, fix the issue, and then uninstall it.
Important Warning: Revo may remove shared libraries that other programs still rely on, so if you go this route, be prepared to reinstall anything that breaks as a result.
If you created a Windows restore point before installing BS, you could roll back to that. If not, this might be a good reminder to start getting into that habit before testing new software. The full Windows reset option is a last resort—it works, but it’s time-consuming and you will likely have to reinstall all your old programs. That’s why tools like Revo can be a helpful middle ground.
Let us know what you find from the GPU checks, and we’ll keep troubleshooting from there.
We are not talking about Bambu Studio, this is the sub for “Bambu Suite” which is a while different Software for he Laser and Cutting functions of the H2D.
Bambu Studio runs perfectly.fine for me.
The troubleshooting techniques above still apply.
