Is bamboo labs or is there a setting in bamboo handy for the new E3D nozzle? If there’s not, they should add one because if it’s faster output speed it could cause issues without firmware for it and if there is, how do I access it I’m getting my E3D nozzle soon. So I would like to know this I feel like bamboo labs is responsible for this, though seeing they listed on their page so they should be tied in with their ecosystem.
Go to the store product page, download the config file with the preset for your printer. Use Studio|File|Import to load the config file. The printer profile for the E3D nozzle will become an option under User Presets.
Will it work in bambu handy
Based on the store website page, it won’t be available till later this year for the Handy app:
Official-Tuned Printer Presets
Bambu Lab now offers official support for E3D Hotends. Users can download and import the official presets right away (Please upgrade Studio to the latest version available on the official website). For our future plan this year, these officially tuned presets will be directly available in Bambu Studio and Bambu Handy—just like the presets for Bambu Lab’s stock nozzles.
I have no idea. I don’t use Handy, don’t print from Makerworld, do not have or want an E3D.
AFAIK, when Makerworld slices a model to send direct to a printer, it does not use User Printer Presets, so I doubt it will slice optimally for an E3D.
I’d suggest waiting to see what information comes with the nozzle, and then seeing what happens when you use it.
oh sorry for some reason I misread your text. I think you owned one to be honest. I was chatting with multiple people about this issue so when writing multiple chats at once I must’ve gotten yours and someone else else’s mixed up.
I’d like to know why the print time is increased in the slicer when using the e3d nozzle vs the standard.
I feel like you got something weird going on because bamboo labs says it’s supposed to decrease the time now I haven’t tried it so it could be a bug cause I have not used the nozzle yet
