FOR EVERY 10% Why isn’t there a “don’t show this again” button? I think I know what I’m doing Bambu…
And apparently they can’t spell either lol “pringing”
It’s not just you. I came here to complain about the same thing. Also, after a power outage, my fans didn’t come back on when I resumed the print, but I think that’s a firmware issue with the .04 beta firmware.
No, it’s not just you. These spelling errors reflect unprofessional conduct in Bambu’s software quality testing process and suggest a broader reliance on “Chabuduo” (差不多). How hard is it to run a spell checker on software bearing your brand?
Western software companies have had their fair share of sloppiness, but Bambu continues to lower the bar. Mistakes happen, but would a Japanese company let something like this out the door? Unfortunately, this reflects a growing trend—companies releasing products with minor but obvious defects that would have been unthinkable a generation ago. And when these issues are pointed out, the response is often defensiveness rather than accountability, while fanboys jump into flame wars against anyone who dares to call out the flaws.
But hey, to some folks, everything in Bambu Land is just rainbows and unicorns.
You haven’t seen the English instructions for Japanese hobby products have you?
“Attach front bamper of car” (spellcheck, 500$ Tamiya RC car), “2 channel radio control and brushless motor is required for car” (grammar check, same Tamiya 500$ RC car) and “This sport gun is developed for enjoying sport shooting through correct sport shoothing operation” (spelling and non-native word salad, 500$ Tokyo Marui airsoft).
The biggest problem I encounter everyday is incorrect localization in US product. “Hey google set an alarm for nineteen hundred - OK your alarm is set for 7pm”. So it understands, and then passively aggressively refuses to answer in kind, but claims to be localized. Then every captcha ask you to click on fire hydrants and crosswalks (what are those, exactly, and what markings define a crosswalk?)
