Bambu 4-in-1 PTFE Adapter Unobtainium

I have tried to buy this from the store. I have been notified 3 times that it’s now in stock but every time I try to add to cart it says out of stock. What gives? I sign up for notify me when in stock and without fail it’s never there even though it says click on link to add to cart.
From today,
"You asked us to tell you when Bambu 4-in-1 PTFE Adapter X1 Series and P1 Series would be available to purchase.

We are pleased to tell you it is now available.

Click below to place your order."

Nope must be a joke.

It’s claimed to be the best 4 to 1 adapter so stock will go really fast when it comes in. FYI - The A series has the same part without the mounting flange (which can be printed.)

Also FYI you can grab one on Ali for $15 if you are desperate but you will have to wait a bit for the shipping from China. I just picked up the A1 AMS Lite splitter and printed an adapter.

I could do that, but they keep sending me a notice that it’s in stock but never is. I would like to get the real deal if possible. Thanks for the suggestion.!

Ali is the real deal, just more expensive. Honestly i prefer the look of the modified A1 AMS splitter in carbon PLA and with an M10 fitting. Looks cleaner then the bambu hanger.

That looks awesome. I’ll order one!

It feels sort of ridiculous how fast they are out of stock. I’ve now received 7 “in stock” emails since the end of January and never been fast enough to actually buy one. I wish the stock notification counted how many times you signed up to be notified and prioritized notifying people who have waited longer!

i got a second “in stock” email today and clicked in time to get one! :tada: thanks, BambuLab!

Me too. Was sad when I woke up and saw a restock overnight but was sold out. But was able to get in on this posted moments ago.

I have received over a dozen notifications since January and have yet to actually be able to order one (even when trying within 90 seconds of getting the email). I’ve had over $200 worth of other stuff waiting in my cart that entire time as I didn’t want to have to end up paying shipping for the adapter once I was able to order it. Good news for me (and bad for Bambu) is that in the meantime I have bought several cheaper brands of PLA from Amazon and found several that get great high speed prints.

As far as I can tell at this point, these adapters sell out within seconds of the emails being sent. I almost suspect that the Aliexpress company selling them for $15 has a bot buying up all of Bambu’s stock. :frowning:

Thank you JonRaymond for the info about the AMS Lite Hub with printed flange. I just put in my order and will be printing that flange shortly. :smile_cat:

After giving up trying to buy one, I checked the other day and low and behold in stock! Ordered awaiting to receive. I think you are right about the Bot, you can get them on AliExpress for $15.

I managed to snag 2 on Friday. One for each of my printers. Took me about a week and a half before I got them and I checked the website as soon as I woke up in the morning. My guess is that they are either really popular or are receiving them in limited stock. My recommendation is not to wait for the email but check their website every morning. If you wait for the email your probably too late.

I wanted to get the standard 4-in-1 adapter, but gave up after a few times of having it in my cart only to be sold out when I went to finalize the purchase. Went with the AMS Lite splitter alternative and it’s been working without issue. I’ll have to thank @JonRaymond for sharing that useful bit of information.

I asked for information when avaliable. Little later (I do not watch my mail permanently) I saw that I had got mail, it would be available now. I went to shop and shop said “out of stock”.
At first I thought, it had been sold out in the meanwhile. I asked again for information …
Little later (about 10 minutes) I got again a mail… Shop said no again.
I Repeated this 3 times, got 3 times a mail.
It is obviouse that the servers are not at sync. On server beliefed that items where at stock and informed per mail, the other that it would not available. Because at midnight it is very unlikly that new items arrive.
I checked again monday morning and now the date when items will be back had increased. And no more information mails.
So BL should improve the shop system. And allow reservations or preorders.
Or should we program a robot, which checks every ten seconds and places automatically orders?

Question to those, who got one:
Does it come with tubes? If not, which do you recommend?

I just attached it to the tubes already coming from the printer and AMS, I didn’t have to use any extra tubes. Although I did previously buy a roll of Bambu PTFE tubing and will use some to feed some filament directly from my SUNLU Filadryer.

Bambu PTFE has a 2.5mm inner diameter. Most others are 2mm and some are 3mm. Only 2.5mm inner diameter is recommended by Bambu, the other ones can cause problems.

The roll of PTFE in BL store is invaluable, when I swap out stuff I tend to trim down the ends as a habit and after a period I just replace the length as its reasonably cheap.

@SimEyeSee , @GenericUser
You are both talking about “a roll of Bambu PTFE”. I only know of some sets of PTFE tubes from BL for the different printers, but of no “roll”.

They also sell a whole roll, where you can just cut the length you need. It is cheaper than the pre-cut set.

On their PTFE product page, there are a few choices on the page you can select. Choose the 4000 mm one

Thank you. They have it well hidden, because there are several pages for PTFE and even the search function of the webside did not find it.
