Bambu A1 errors

Just bought the printer. Set it up, when I try to update the firmware, it says" update failed, Restart and re-update". I have done this several times and I still get the same error. The printer is connected to the internet
When skipping the firmware update and try to calibrate, I get a notification that the tool head is malfunctioning. Also, when I turn the printer on, the light is supposed to be solid, but it’s blinking.

Resting to factory no work. Here is video of error.
Calibration error.
Firmware update error.

This is my second printer. Installation of my Bambu A1 Mini went without any errors .

Is it possible to get to factory reset? If so I would try that, if that failed I would try to return the unit.

Hmm, that’s kinda strange. Definitely try a factory reset and see if it works.
I got through that part but I get an error code+message (12ff8003) before each print and I don’t get it. I just bought it too.

I got it to work finally. I ended up just taking it apart again and putting it back together.

Hi… Do you have any idea of what was that fixed it specifically… I have the exact same issues… Callibration, Firmware, Toolhead Malfunction.

I will take it apart, but I want to know if there was something that you think was the actual problem.

Thanks

I have the same issue and can’t seem to figure it out. it wants to me tear it apart but i’m not doing it. So what got it to work for you??

I had the same thing happen to me. I found the USB connector and cable under the bed pulled apart. When I snugged up the cable clamp it pulled the USB cable out I slight bit. I loosened the clamp and pushed the USB connection back together. I was then able to calibrate and upgrade the firmware.

yours is doing same thing as mine is doing with the crazy loud noise when you tell it to find home and then when you try to update it it says it failed and to restart.

So what did you do to fix yours??

are you talking about the thing that you screw in that has 3 cords attached to it for xyz axis and camera ?

Yes, I was ready to put a ticket in so it fooled around with that piece and its been fine for 3 weeks now. When its tighten up it seems to pull the usb cable out just enough to cause alot of problems.

loose the screw a bit, that fixed mine, thanks a lot @Bargoo you save me a lot of headaches

I’m getting this 12ff8803 error when trying to load filament - any solution?
