Bambu A1 Mini PETG Selection

There seems to be a big problem with printing PETG with the AMS on Bambu Mini. I have the latest firmware ( 01.01.03.00) And both the latest Orca Slicer (1.9) and Bambu Slicer version (1.8.4.51)

So I want to print PETG. I have the AMS setup with the following configuration:

SLOT 1 = Generic PLA
SLOT 2 = Generic PETG
SLOT 3 = Generic PLA
SLOT 4 = Generic PLA

This is also configured in the printer itself to resemble the above.

So the first problem is when you do a sync there ends up being 5 filaments in the Slicer which is wrong. I try to correct this by removing the 5th filament type so that that it matches (leaving 5 doesn’t change anything either).

Ok so then you try and either print the file and you end up with a screen that says the following

Not allowing you to select the PETG to print. Ok fine Let’s try and send the file to the printer to print it by selecting the filament on the printer on print?

The Icon doesn’t change from PLA when you select PETG on the filament selection screen. Not a big deal, however the temperatures upon selection are NOT the PETG temperatures they are simply the PLA temperatures. This is a HUGE Problem… Can someone please explain how they have been printing PETG with the AMS please. Is this a problem with only the most recent firmware update? Should i revert back to the old firmware. PLEASE HELP

PROBLEM SOLVED

If anyone has this problem there isn’t a correlation between the filament added on the printer and the software. The first filament in the slicer is the one that determines the type. You can then pick which ever filament based on this type.

Yes it’s confusing but i’m happy it works.
