Just wondering - is something wrong with my eyes?
Why is the right side neatly rolled up, but the left side looks unrolled… wound unevenly
Even if you look at the individual filament windings here, it looks like - I don’t know - as if it had been unwound before and then rewound incorrectly.
Was the roll in its original packaging? They don’t actually come that way from the factory.
Not certain but that looks to me like the filament is partially obscured by a reflection from the container. There is a faint profile just barely barely visible that looks like regular wraps?
If it’s just the reflection, then it’s fine, but if it was delivered like that, it definitely raises some questions. If you look closely - even without reflection - some of the windings still don’t look right, as if the tension wasn’t maintained at some point and the filament unwound.
They usually lie nicely parallel to each other.
