Bambu Handy can't find printer

I’ve got my printer down in the garage, connected by WiFi and a powerline extender to the router in the house. Everything works fine between Bambu Studio and the printer.
I used to have a Samsung S21 Ultra which ran Bambu Handy and connected to the printer. It was great, I could check a print if I woke up in the middle of the night without going out in the cold to the garage!
I changed my phone to a Samsung S23 Ultra and reinstalled Bambu Handy. Now I can’t find the printer. Nothing else has changed. Network is exactly the same and 2.4G. I’ve reinstalled the app a couple of times, still nothing.
Should I be able to see the printer if I log in to the router and go to the devices? There’s nothing with a recognizable name. Thanks for any help.

My update yesterday reset my IP so I had to sign out and resign in and it connected first go

Sadly, I’ve signed in so many times and I get nothing.

No idea then sorry, maybe someone else might be able to help, maybe send a ticket to Bambu Labs technical

If you can’t see the printer on your router then that is your problem. Can you turn the extender off? Even if you have to bring the printer in to the house and turn the router off it will confirm where the issue is

Only other thing could be permissions on your new phone.

I have an S23 Ultra also, I didnt have to do anything to get the app working. Even in the last update, i just rebooted the machine as i would any firmware update.

Eveything works fine for me.

That’s a good idea. I may have had the printer in the house when I first connected my previous phone, then moved it to the garage.

What sort of permissions?

I’m not on android but I know a lot of times apps need to set permissions to access your network etc. I’d check those settings for Handy with it being a new phone.

I’ve checked the router and the printer is definitely connected, with a valid IP address. My desktop Mac connects to it but my phone doesn’t.

It says on the Add printer screen in Bambu Handy “Scan QR Code to Login”, where would I find the QR code?

Finally found what was wrong. For some inexplicable reason I was signed in on two different accounts. I didn’t even realise I had a second account! :smiley:
Anyway, all is working now. Thank you for all the suggestions.
