Is there any interest in havng the Bambu Handy app work in landscape for tablets?

That would be a good option. I use a portable display, keyboard and mouse connected to my Samsung phone. With DEX, it will push/display whatever is on the phone to the display. In my case, the display is 15.6 Arzopa. The keyboard and mouse are connected via Bluetooth. Samsung Dex formats the screen to wide view automatically. I’ve also used the display as a second monitor for my PC using the mini-HDMI or USB-C port on the display.
I have no idea how you’d connect the display to an iPhone or Mac. That’s beyond my talents.
Here’s a couple of shots of the display and keyboard with Bambu Handy running. When displaying the Printer’s camera, the mouse wheel will zoom in and out, but I haven’t figured out how to move the view around on the screen.

That would be a good thing as I use an iPad Pro 12" and find the interface distracting in portrait mode. No problem just having portrait on my Android Phone.
