Bambu Handy on Apple Watch

Bambu Handy is great on the phone, but the Apple Watch support is basically nonexistent right now. All you get through Live Activities is “Printing” and a tiny progress bar. No time left, no ETA, no percentage, nothing. That’s pretty much useless if you’re trying to check on a print without pulling out your phone. It would be awesome to have an actual Watch app that shows you print progress, time remaining, whether it’s still going or if something went wrong, and maybe a notification when it’s done or if filament runs out. Even just a simple screen with that info would make a huge difference. It would especially help to have a camera view.

The bones are already there, too, since Handy already sends Live Activities to iOS, so pushing that same data to a real WatchOS app shouldn’t be that crazy of a lift. OctoApp already does this kind of thing on Apple Watch, so it’s clearly doable. Being able to just glance at your wrist while you’re doing stuff around the house and see where your print is at would be so nice. Pause and cancel from the Watch would be the dream, but honestly, even just being able to see the status without grabbing your phone would be a win.

agree with u , ETA would be a minimum

ETA would be better than the status. If ETA was 0 we would know it’s done.
