Nice! By the look of it, it is like an A1 large and maybe with vortek? Or laser cutting?
350m3 bed with optional accessories to attach to tool head for cutting & drawing like the H2 series without laser(of course)⦠Maybe maybe ![]()
i suspect a dual nozzle A1 but with H2 sized build plate
maybe one with the cutting (knive) and pen attachment?
Thereās definitely cut knife attachment and probably something for multi color
Will the A1s be put out to pasture ? or remain a staple of the novice user
no A2 mini?!!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
I think it will be like an A1 but the print size of the H series + cutting function (to also use the 300x300 cutting materials from BL).
- hopefully 2 printheads!!
My money is on a 4D printer.
Question will be whether L is the new normal or really bigger than the A1.
H2S build plate would be nice and a integrated filament changer with direct feed
of filament for multiple strains to the print head. There a no actual good big size multi color printers. With a possible AMS 3 Pro.
The actual lack of multiple parallel feeds to the print head is still a huge lack of the actual Bambu systems. Creality SparkX and Cobra X are all 260mm cube.
Hope they also push out a normal size 256mm and Mini with maybe 200mm.
i guess L stands for LARGEā¦.How large that means in terms of print surface, that remains to be seen on June 1st.
Oh, a large bedslinger with cutter and pens? ![]()
Who said it will be a bedslinger? Chances are it could be an improved bedslinger⦠like perhaps a bedswingerā¦![]()
I asked the Bambu Chatbot and LOL it answered!
Spec and feature spoilers ahead
Extrusion System Upgrade: Equipped with a PMSM closed-loop servo extruder, ensuring more stable power output during high-speed printing and supporting active monitoring of extrusion anomalies.
Adaptive Vibration Compensation: Features an adaptive algorithm supporting multi-point calibration for the first time, significantly suppressing ringing artifacts during the printing of large and tall models.
Physical Resonance Suppression: The frame incorporates two granular dampers to absorb frame resonance at a physical level, further optimizing surface quality.
More Reliable Clumping Detection: Newly added clumping detection switch. Dedicated hardware performs clog detection through physical contact, making it more stable and reliable.
Multi-dimensional Creation Expansion: New modular mounting points support the installation of a CNC cutting module for planar creation.

L means lettering. A big letter.
Pics or didnāt happen.
The A series is the entry level bed slinger distinctive band. Moving away from bed slingers would be a marketing faux pas, so for Bambu Lab it could either way given their lack of marketing knowledge.
The 2 would signify second generation like the X2 & H2 series.
The L is most likely ālarge formatā.
Nothing rules out dual nozzle, although they would cannibalise their more expensive models if they did this.
Those expecting cutting and lasers should note the cannibalisation paragraph above.
You would hope they would stick to a common build plate size, yet, the larger build plates are not standard sizes either.
So, likely a second generation A1 with a larger (possibly another x by y size), with the possibility of dual nozzles, possibly the limited version the X2D comes with.
It will need a dining table rather than a desk as the larger format has to swing back and forwards.
My guess would be AMS, AMS 2 Pro and AMS HT rather than the AMS Lite.
X2D print head - with dual extruders is my prediction - for faster dual material or multi colour prints. H2C size build plate. Cheaper than an X2D - so probably slightly more than current A1 price - or half the price of the X2D.
