In Germany, the standard depth for all workbench countertops is: 600mm. It might just fit if the printer plate swings over the table - or just rotate it 90 degrees.
Personally, I would never buy a bed-slinger that big, because physics tells me it’s a bad idea - it’ll just cause trouble. The movement would have to be slowed down considerably.
Well, Bambu hasn’t unveiled the device yet, so maybe they’ll still surprise us…
This makes the most sense, they could use exiting H2 series build plates, existing H2 series cutting attachment and pen attachment, all the nozzles, etc. are already in stock, obviously no laser without the enclosure, I’d bet money that it’s going to be this.
What’s very interesting too is that if BiQU brings their Panda Treat inkjet printer head attachment to this model too, this would be one interesting piece of crafting tech and food printing.
id love to have a cut tool from the H2S on the A2L for sure, that would be awesome. would surely save space and money buying a dedicated cutter/ plotter
maybe its a core XY printer similar to a H2S Lite, and maybe using its cutter/laser features, maybe even with 4 nozzles to compete with snapmaker. if 4 nozzle comes at a better price than snapmaker…its gonna sell like hot cakes
The A1 was released Dec 2023. A2L, a new printer, is out now, but A2 probably will be out in the new few months. More than two years between a refresh is actually slow. In the case of X2, it took 4 years, way too slow to play the Creality game.
The next few months can be very busy though. Only 7 months left, and there are still two more A2 series printers and very likely two more X2 printers to be released.
Exciting, but if it really is BIG, I’m worried about it being a bedslinger. Also I’m really hoping it ends up being bigger than the H2S, but I have my doubts.
So there’s no dual nozzle after all. Oh well, at least Reddit have one more reason to post that image as an ‘exclusive’ leak next time in two years… and again, and again, and again.
