[Bambu Lab H3C] AMS 3H: Sealed. Engaged. Loaded

Now that I look at it on a computer and not my small phone, it does look like its going side to side to change nozzles. But it also looks like the funnel is bigger than the one on the P3C AMS. Looks almost like a 4x1 or 2x1 splitter as well.

Dont have to overcomplicate it, just respool some filament onto a second spool. I do this when I only have one roll of a filament I need to use on two printers at the same time.

I thought Bambu Studio still didn’t support different nozzles sizes in the same print. Did I miss a feature release? I understand how useful it could be, I just thought it wasn’t yet a thing.

Edit: Thanks, @Stagecraft ! I did miss that it is becoming a thing.

Buy a second roll of blue filament. Tongue only partly in cheek. Seems like the overhead of moving a filament back and forth from one nozzle to the next would be high, nearly as bad as using a single nozzle printer. You could skip some purge, but would still need a prime tower and to wipe the nozzle clean every time to ensure pressures are smoothed out. I think.

We’ll know a lot more tomorrow.

I do like the cut of your jib.

a lady and the tramp cartoon with the words suck my noodle at the bottom

They teased it a few days ago: [Bambu Lab H3C] 0.2 or 0.4? Why not both

In the example the only showed different material with different nozzle sizes. Not even on the watch itseld, case (0.4mm) is different color than the dial details which the exyplain to be printed with 0.2mm nozzle. We wills ee which features the new bambustudio will bring tomorrow. BL may have a story for the future (which tomorow is).

We got another leak (thats why UK site has no mention of H3C currently, they took it down to fix it), 3 models:

  1. H3C Standard
  2. H3C AMS 3 Pro Combo
  3. H3C AMS 3 Pro / Laser Combo

Starting price is 2499 GBP thats about 3350 USD. UK prices include a 20% VAT tax so should be cheaper in other locations, perhaps closer to $2499-2799 for base model.

Wow. So they are indeed selling it even without the new AMS? :open_mouth:

I truly hope that starting price is not for the H3C w/o any AMS D:

This (the 3 models/options) is, btw, exactly the thing I wanted to know, so thank you so much for sharing it!

And now I know that I’m going for the 2nd model, which relieves some of the pressure from waiting for the H3C to be published and the countdown to start. There is way too much stress in life even without that

Perhaps thats why there are dual chunky external spool anchors on it, to support large side racks that hold multiple spools.

Girlfriend…I would not buy the ā€œSuperTackā€ā€¦I made that mistake and now it sits…I don’t even want to look at that thing. Get a BIQU CryoGrip and you can thank me later.

I know I will probably get flamed for the comment but in my experience? Those plates are truly what the name says…SUPERTACK…you gotta fight to get the print off the plate…and yes I have tried the glue stick and the alchohol tricks and they do work but what a pain…cleaning the plate all the time from the glue and/or only a little bit of the print letting go so MORE alchohol…blah blah blah…so not worth it BUT…that’s my opinion and experience and it’s worth exactly what you paid for it…nothing…

Back to our regularly scheduled thread…:grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Even considering VAT, their pricing has been a little weird between regions.

Anyways, over 3 grand for this thing without some sort of AMS on it seems like a ripoff,

If you look at the full photo that was leaked the left side is the wrong time

At the end the market makes the price, if there is some competition it will drop soon, at least before next years H4C. Anyway it is a must to buy one tomorrow if there is one available.
Nobody (of the customer) knows what are the capabilities of the AMS 3. If it is jsut a reel holder with drying functionality. I guess soon some practical development like from humebeam will be createed.

Did you take into account the DST switch in Europe and the US?

Could also be two different windows, one USA one UK to compare code.

Of course, so no one will buy it.

I think we can all make some educated guesses. They have pretty much released it already. The only question is the price.

The EU page also shows the 9:00 AM EST for me, same as the UK one:

Browsers send your time zone along with other info when you look at a site, and the bambu webpage dynamically serves you the appropriate time for your location.

My location is Germany, though. Not the US. So then it should show 15:00 instead.
