it is so silent here right now…? are you still writing on your personal thougts for the survey?

what do you think about it? i feel somehow positive about it?

The survey seemed to be written from a different perspective than I have but I still highlighted the AI slop, the point traders, and the lack of exposure and benefits to human creators because all the air gets sucked out of the room. I also pointed out how MW essentially aids and abets that by featuring them.

Maybe they’ll listen but I suspect it’s basically lip service and to give the whiners (like me) an outlet for their frustrations and maybe they’ll shut up while they keep the printer and filament gravy train rolling.

Just my opinion. May not be grounded in reality. But we’ve had surveys and feedback before and what has really changed?

I answered, i put my thoughts with the AI problem (flood of low quality models and renders of prints with ultra good looking quality and later are sh*t).

I think one of solutions is only real prints without painting only real print models allowed in first image.

The other parts of the survey for me aren’t important / irrelevant.

I cannot see any survey. Where exactly is it?

Do you have to have models on MW to get it?

I do not publish there as they require login to download - supposedly they don’t, but I get a login prompt everytime (might be the VPN) even for “free” models (which aren’t free if you have to give personal information to get them)

If anyone is feeling confused right now because they can’t see a survey, rest assured that they are happening all the time. I guess people are selected at random. When they appear, they usually come through as a notification in your MakerWorld inbox.

it was about moderation, content, ai and rules and if you noticed some changes over the last few months…

first i thought that this multible choise survey is not realy a good way to become a understanding of the peoples thoughts here… but at the end you can write down everything that is important for you… and this is a good sign in my view…!!!..

i also wrote about the bad moderation in this forum… because it is realy bad…!

mmh… all in all, it shows that there is some interest in how people feel about their makerworld experience…!

so i feel positive about it…
