Bambu Lab PETG Basic - Print Artifacts

Hi all!

First post in this forum and I am looking forward to picking everyone’s brain! I have a P1S and it has been printing like a dream since August of this year. I’ve used Bambu Lab PLA, Bambu PLA tough, Creality PLA and PETG, and Sunlu PLA up to this point with zero issues. I recently bought Bambu Lab PETG basic (white) for a work project and have had several issues with print artifacts.

Some of the troubleshooting I’ve done so far:

  1. Dried filament at 50c for 12+ hours - This has helped a TON
  2. Cleaned gold textured PEI build plate with soap and water more regularly - Helped with print adhesion significantly.
  3. Change Bambu Lab PETG Print settings to 260c nozzle temp, upped cooling to 40%/90% as other threads have recommended.

So far these changes have help a LOT, but I am still seeing artifacts like this. Any ideas on what could be causing these types of defects?

Thank you all in advance!

@ryanpedersen9, do you get artifacts like that with other filament? If not, then it’s the brand of PETG most likely.

@Level23 Not that I can recall but I agree, my next step is to get in a different kind of PETG and see if that kind of artifact persists.

Hello, I’m having the same issues. Also Bambu PETG, dried out, temp upped to 265, higher cooling.
