Actually, Bambu said it will launch it in September, but (repeating myself here), it didn’t specify which year.

Did not expect a CO2. Location of the CO2 tube seems identical to that of xTool P2S too. Likely gonna be a big and expensive machine.

Agreed. I was hoping for something ‘New’. I am glad to see a stand alone laser as this will hopefully help to push the software development side forward.

Me too. I have a H2S Laser and have had troubles fitting it into my workflow/space.

UV rocks engraving FDM parts but at $3-4000 it’ll be a hard sell to most 3D printer owners..tbh. Highly specialized machines. Same for Fiber. Dedicated 5W IR lasers can do pretty decent markings but these nevertheless costs almost the same as a H2S.

CO2 is still the closest to what one might call a “flagship laser”, and though I already own one, there’s a lot of room for improvements, some are features bambu already built for the H2 series. Don’t know anything yet but Bambu’s call might not be totally crazy.

Sidenote on prices: You can find aliexpress grade lasers of the same Wattage for significantly cheaper than branded but quoted wattage sometimes don’t tell the real performance. One 50w generic laser will say it can only cut 3mm plywood in one pass while the 55w xTool P2S can do 12mm (18 for solid walnut)
