Imagine a Bambu-style machine like the creality laser…: sleek, enclosed, and smart — ready for creative work without the noise, fumes, and setup stress.

What we’d love to see in a Bambu Lab laser engraver:

  • :lock: Fully enclosed housing with built-in safety features
  • :wind_face: Air filtration or exhaust system for indoor use
  • :scissors: Digital cutting support for thin wood, acrylic, leather, etc.
  • :pen: Drawing upgrade — like pen plotting or marker drawing
  • :camera: Smart camera alignment for previews and positioning
  • :control_knobs: Bambu Studio integration with simple drag & drop workflow
  • :robot: Maybe even a swappable head system (engrave, draw, cut)

If anyone could build a user-friendly, all-in-one creative laser machine, it’s Bambu Lab.

The Falcon A1 is good — but a Bambu Lab alternative could be next-level.

There are other companies making good laser engravers. There’s zero need for a 3d printer company to go into laser engravers.

There’s Glowforge, xtool, omtech, wecreat (and tons of other manufacturers I believe).

but a 3d printer company which also sold a laser could easily combine it… many 3d printing companies have both!

Honestly, this is meant for a different company to handle, Bambu lab focuses on 3d printing and after years of hard work and development, they make some of the best 3d printers on the market. If they take their focus off of FDM printing, other companies could get the time they need to easily match their printers.
