Bambu Lab Shipping Delay - December 20th Update

My label was created on 29th November and shipped yesterday, so something doesn‘t seems to add up with the 7 days

Hello,

In this context, will the tickets now also be processed more quickly if DPD has lost or misappropriated shipments?
Another shipment has also arrived incomplete.
A ticket has also been created for this.

I would hate to see it take 8 to 10 weeks for me to receive my replacement delivery for the missing P1S Combo and all the things that are missing from the second parcel.

According to DPD, shipping labels are valid for 10 days.

I don’t know if this also applies to business customers. Maybe they can reactivate a label for a fee. What is the point of keeping a label consultable in the system otherwise?

In any case, there must be a shipping label; otherwise, a package won’t go anywhere. How else would DPD know the route at the various transfer points if not by scanning a label? That there is payed for the service? Once it reaches the recipient, the label is scanned again upon delivery. How else can the carrier prove that the package has been delivered?

A label is just a token. this token relates to the system that is used for DPD own business. Besides that, a portion of the information is consultable for the sender and the receiver. Its just a view over just a portion of the total data that DPD uses to do their thing.

How can this be? I really don’t understand this.

I ordered a P1S Combo on the last minutes of the Black Friday sale. Something went wrong with the payment so I tried to cancel the order and try again but the system told me the order could not be canceled. I asked several times how I could complete the order but I’m only getting useless copy/paste answers on delayed shipments.
They don’t even bother reading my support question. I never bought anything from Bambu Lab but my first ecperience with them is not positive.

The update is rather silent on Canada, wondering if you can offer any clarity. Are they considered US orders?

The accessories that shipped immediately seem to have shipped from a local logistics company or fulfillment center. I presume the printer will eventually do the same. Are the same delays affecting Canadian orders? Do Canadian orders process through the US warehouse, or was this a separate Canadian warehouse that shipped to me? Are orders for Canada also arriving before Christmas?

Instructions I had was that the parcel must be sent out within 7 days from printing the label. It might depend on the contract. Still even if it’s 10 days it’s the same issue.

In any case, there must be a shipping label

Yes. But as mentioned label should be printed when goods are ready to ship/no earlier than 7 (or 10) days before the shipment

How else would DPD know the route at the various transfer points if not by scanning a label?

They will route manually based on the address on the label and charge you extra ~1 Euro for it.

How else can the carrier prove that the package has been delivered?

Self-reporting. Courier reports that the parcel with a given reference (found on the label) was delivered.

I actually mentioned this. You wrongly assume that parcel can only be delivered using the barcode or “token” as you described it. Which is not the case. DPD (and other couriers) will happily deliver even if you scribe the address with a crow’s feather and ash based ink.

They will just charge you more for manual handling of the parcel … and you won’t get tracking.

Hey if it works for you - great. I’m just explaining how some people might get a printer without tracking - because system only guarantees the label will be valid for X days. After that it might work, might not work.

When it comes to Bambu, everything can be and everything goes…stick around longer and go through the topics on this forum; you’ll learn the facts pretty fast as to why everything goes with Bambu.

Thanks for clearing that up.

Is this properly why things go wrong and packages never arrive?

I hope to get my first printer… If DPD don’t mess up with a handwritten label

Well, good luck to you, bud. You know the old saying: " Hope dies last… and the one hoping dies with it"…

We have almost an identical situation. October order, ■■■■ responses, ‘shipping labels’ that are ‘waiting for parcel’.

All we get is ‘Thanks for your patience’. There would be more if we had transparency of what the heck is happening, rather than backpedaling every time someone catches them in a lie. I can’t wait for competitors to come out with something even ‘close enough’. I think it’s time to speak with money.

I have been waiting since the 18th November for my printer, and 20€ compensation is all they have to give? its ridiculous! they are liars and I still don’t believe them

My frustration is it’s been over a month and I was already told I would receive it 7 or 8 days ago with a ticket. What I don’t understand is why it’s taken so long to make a statement.

It’s a little disappointing I will get $20 when all I wanted is a little communication from you guys.

Well thanks no thanks for still no real resolution. Your communication was and is absolutely bad, another wall of blah and copy pase is not really what I expected after asking again on how my order is doing.

I would absolutely prefer getting my order shipped instead of whatever ammount of store credit, tbh I dont even really care if the AMS counts for 10 or 20€.

I never got any official information that the tracking changed from DHL to DPD, if I didnt look at my order in the shop directly I would have never noticed. However, that did not help anyways, as the order is stuck in the same state again. You really really really need to up your communications here, this is again not a really good example on how to handle things.

I got this post in response to my ticket, so now that? Play the waiting game longer now? Great solution, really.

Unacceptable, there is no remedy for the lack of communication to the customer. That’s just poor management and a terrible business model. We all spent good money for your product, and if you couldn’t keep up, then you could of just said you were sold out. A blanket statement doesn’t provide any answers to any of us. How do I know you guys didn’t mess up my order when you can’t even say hello via email?
