I ordered 2DEC (US). NO delivery after 25 days, NO package delivered to UPS, NO “$10 discount email”, NO response to Customer Service request. Crickets.
At what point am I allowed to “whine” about not receiving my product?
Ordered placed on Dec 6th (US). Fulfilment on filaments started on the 7th. Everything received within 2 weeks except printer. Finally received an email with shipping label created for the printer last night . I did however submit a ticket last week asking about status and discount code with no response. My colleague made the same purchase the following day after my purchase date and received everything except the printer. He however did not submit a ticket. Lets see if he gets a tracking number by today or this weekend.
There will be gray areas and I’m not saying Bambu is blameless.
If they accept orders for stock they don’t have, they need to inform customers of that situation so customers can make informed decisions.
Vendors want to get orders locked in so they can take that money. It’s a two way street, though. Especially this time of year, vendors need to be up front on when they expect new stock - which Bambu seems to be at least on filament. But customers need to understand expectations aren’t guarantees.
Ordered Nov 30th, shipping notice December 12th, update on shipping Dec 24th. Multiple support tickets and live chats, getting no where fast every time.

“Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by incompetence. But don’t rule out malice.”
Seriously, why do other businesses have very few problems shipping product around the US holiday period? My wife and I do online orders regularly, and even in the last month we have not had any issues. A big online musical-instrument dealer sent my order in a timely fashion. Multiple Rain Forest orders went through without a hitch. A few specialty orders from small businesses arrived as expected.
So what’s with Bambu? Are they really so bad at managing expected order volume that they completely botched their inventory and shipping? From what I can tell from these posts, easily half (or more) of the orders don’t get past the immediately “shipping label created” stage, and that means the orders have not actually left their manufacturing facility. Maybe we can infer that they’re still building product and have a backlog. If this is the case, then they’re lying when their website says “in stock.” And the complainers are correct: this is just beyond-awful customer service from Bambu.
I realize that most of these complaints are not from the US, and while I generally ignore “Black Friday” sales (because they’re not giving any real deals) (and does “Black Friday” exist outside of the US? After all it’s the day after US Thanksgiving!), I did order four spools of Bambu filament and it arrived in a timely fashion, but this is anecdote and not evidence.
The solution is to institute credit card chargebacks. If they’ve got your money and two weeks later there’s no movement on the order and all attempts at communication (tickets, chat, whatever) are a dead end, call the card issuer or use their online form to start the chargeback. The bigger banks like Chase, Citi, Discover and American Express almost always resolve the issue in their customer’s favor. And the more complaints and chargebacks they get from their customers about specific businesses, the more likely it is that those businesses will find themselves unable to use the credit card processing system. And that’s a death sentence for any retailer.
And this leads to: NEVER use a debit card for purchases, ever. The money is removed from your bank account immediately, and even if the card has a Visa or Mastercard logo and you will be made whole, that money is gone until the issue is resolved.
Same with PayPal. I have no idea about their buyer protection plans, but dealing with the credit card issuer directly is better for the consumer.
Always buy with a credit card.
Good luck out there.
This is 100% true. Bambu knew exactly what they were doing when they kept on taking orders knowing that they didn’t have the stock available. They know exactly how many they have in stock at all times. That’s basic economics business.
I bet they didn’t wait to charge even one credit card. Now they make it just about impossible to cancel the order.
I’ve been reading other posts about Bambu and this isn’t the first time they have delays with orders.
If they were just honest to begin with I don’t think people would have anything to complain about. However I’ve read many people here who ordered in NOV or EARLY DEC for Xmas presents and still have gotten their printers shipped yet.
The fact that Black Friday coincides with US Thanksgiving is a coincidence.
For retailers, especially grocery stores, traditionally Black Friday is the first day all year that the store is running “in the black”, in other words, every sale that they make from that day forward is a profit.
The US stole our already stolen country from us Brits, we will and have stolen this ‘holiday’ sale period.
Just looked at the shipping info for the UK and it looks like it isn’t worth the written word, every statement they have missed.
The only get out is “tracking information will be sent when processed” that has no time limit so it can be days weeks and now months.
From Bambu terms:
Order Tracking Information
You will receive a notice of shipment email with tracking information upon the shipment of your order.
You may also track your order in your order history in the account centre.
It may take up to 72 hours for your tracking number to be activated.
Its all bull not sticking to the terms.
I do like in the terms when you do receive your printer if it is damaged you should shoot a unboxing video. Tell me who has done that as most times its out of the box when you find it may be damaged.
Delivery and Inspection
As our printers are high-value items, please monitor the delivery schedule. In case you are not at home during the delivery window, we recommend contacting the courier in advance to arrange a suitable delivery time to ensure you are available to receive the package successfully.
Once you (or someone else on your behalf) collect the item, Bambu Lab will consider this your acceptance of the package, quantity, and product. To protect your rights, you are highly recommended to shoot a complete unboxing video. If you notice any damage to the packaging, items are missing or damaged, please contact Bambu Lab Support within 24 hours after you receive the package so that we can resolve the problem immediately.strong text
Well, I’m in the same boat as most on this. I placed my order for the A1 on Black Friday with hopes it would be here for Christmas. I’m in Hawaii. Saw that it was supposedly getting processed the day after and then no movement since. In the meantime, I got the other stuff like filaments, plate, etc. but no printer. I put in 3 tickets and would only get some generic automated response. After a few weeks, I got a response via email for one of my tickets and this is what it says:
"Based on the tracking information, we notice that there have been some issues with the handover of the package( <tracking #>) between our warehouse and the courier. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
We have documented this issue and reported it to our logistics team. They will verify the status of the package with the courier service and our warehouse to expedite the delivery to you. Please be aware that the investigation may take some time. During this process, we kindly ask for your patience and cooperation.
After investigation, the logistics tracking typically starts updating within 3 working days. If not, we will promptly provide an alternative solution."
I see on the forum that others are getting other types of excuses. I did file a complaint with the BBB. This is ridiculous on how they operate.
Well, I just checked the USPS Tracking again and my printer arrived in Honolulu. So its almost here but when I just got the response to my ticket, its as if it never shipped yet. So whomever is answering the tickets (if its a real person), they clearly do not have the latest info. And I see that many other people on this topic ordered their printers well before me so its very sad if they are not processing the orders by order date.
Did anyone else get the wrong items in their orders AFTER all the delays? I only ordered 3 filaments and 2 of them were incorrect. They were a gift so imagine the disappointment.
No response to my ticket of course (opened on the 23rd but still, business should be back today).
Far too many, read back.
I am still waiting for a shipment of filament from November 28th, they really need to address the extreme delay, since i ordered filament after (around Dec 10th) and got that shipment before my earlier one.
Im in Montreal and ordered on November 30. Still nothing on the printer but i already received all the other accessories and filaments.
Since when does a product from China arrive in a week? There is a strike at the Port of Vancouver, which is restricting products from China. Add Black Friday which has reduced the stock quite a bit. I’ve been waiting for the printer and AMS since November 28th and arrival confirmed for next week.
That doesn’t explain the reasons other territories have been affected as well with equally appalling delivery delays, total failures of delivery or the now common cancellations by BL of orders.
It only partially explains the Canada situation.
It doesn’t explain the insistence on BL continuing to use the very delivery partners they blamed for causing much of these issues, both when it was true and when it was unrelated.
Please do file the lawsuit, Bambu needs to change their ways.
There have been delays for some and others not. For small packages, there are no delays or few. Black Friday hurt BL who had not planned stock. On the other hand, in Canada, there is a strike at the port, a postal strike. So, everything to keep the other delivery people very busy. Seriously, people crying for filament not received the same day. Rotten spoiled society. We just have to encourage people from here if we want to be delivered the same day. I’ve been waiting for the printer for a month. Seriously, find out before buying from a brand.
It’s simple, they have changed carriers for your purchase on December 10th. The other front package must be taken in a container. My printer arrival next week. 1 month !!! Because of Port of Vancouver… If you are in Canada. For the packages stuck by the strikes, Bambu Lab can do nothing. She has surely rectified it. But it would have been better if she had communicated better with consumers.
