Yeah, I thought so.
Did you already get the other stuff (or is it at least in the Netherlands by now)?
Still waiting for two shipments (out of 5) for the other stuff and one more shipment with the printer
I tried to contact support, what a waste of time. Tried the live chat, but that was also a complete nightmare. No-one appears to know where stuff is at…
Order a printer on the 1st of December to be shipped to NL, apparantly it is sitting in a DPD warehouse in Germany since 12th of December, but DPD says that not true. I suspect devices are on a boat somewhere between China and Europe, but please, please, please, provide some clarity @BambuLab !!
Also, no information about any compensation whatsoever.
Wtf!!! I live in Montreal as well and haven’t received my printer yet!!! I ordered the A1 combo on November 30 and the shipping status still says label created. wtf is going on. I didn’t even received the compensation code as well.
I might do that as well if my printer doesn’t arrive by January 7. How will you proceed?
Time to get excited, my new P1S Combo will arrive today between 3.45 PM and 5.30 PM
I ordered pretty much the same stuff as you did, but on Dec 6th.
Funny they decided to ship the A1+AMS to me (Manitoba) first even though the combo went through the Ontario centre. Hope you’ll get yours very soon!
The frustrating part is the no update with ups
It’s been another three days here and nothing. I’ve finally opened a ticket but I’m concerned about everything in reading in the forums. I see users in my region who ordered after me who have already received their printers. Gotta say, I’m pretty close to disputing this, Bambu can’t seriously be taking new orders like this, can they?
I hope they’re enjoying the $700 interest-free loan I’ve given them.
I didn’t say they were in stock.
I pointed out IF they were in stock they would be dispatched without the delays most of us in this thread have suffered.
I would strongly recommend not using expletives as it breaches the rules here. Not only is it not polite, but we have kids on the forum and our decorum should be at the forefront, no matter how much it feels justified.
In the U.K. the A1 mini combo (the one I ordered) is not due until the end of the month, this means even when BL finally deal with my missing printer, a new one being shipped out will not arrive until two months after I originally ordered the printer as a donation to a school.
At this point, I do not know if I will still be alive to make the actual donation!
I ordered a bunch of filament and spare spools on Nov 11,
I know it is unfortunate that Canada Post went on strike but as of Jan 6th I still have zero idea when I will get my order. It is not even showing up on Canada Post’s website !!
Frustrating as I have parted with over $100 and have nothing to show for it. I have emailed customer support multiple times asking for a refund but they. just refuse and don’t seem to care.
Not great customer service I am afraid
Question for any of you experts. I just got the A1 mini and want to know what’s the better filament to use PlA or PETG.
This is the wrong thread for this sort of question.
The Answer
PLA and PETG are both 3D printing materials with different properties that make them better suited for different applications:
-
PLA
A bioplastic made from plant-based materials, PLA is a popular choice for beginners because it’s easy to print with and environmentally friendly. It’s ideal for decorative items, prototypes, and low-stress applications. PLA is rigid, low cost, and prints quickly.
-
PETG
A polyester with added glycol, PETG is stronger, more flexible, and more temperature-resistant than PLA. It’s suitable for functional parts, mechanical components, and objects exposed to more demanding conditions. PETG is also resistant to UV light and water, making it suitable for outdoor applications.
Here are some other differences between PLA and PETG:
-
Durability: PETG is more durable than PLA.
-
Stiffness: PLA is stiffer than PETG.
-
Printing temperature: PETG has a higher printing temperature range than PLA, typically around 220-250°C.
-
Solvent resistance: PETG is more resistant to solvents like isopropyl alcohol and hydrochloric acid than PLA.
-
Shelf life: PLA and PETG both have a common shelf life recommendation of 1-2 years.
Similar issue to others here. Ordered on the 29th of November, received a UPS tracking number on the 29th of December. Sitting at 10 days with no update saying the package has not been received by UPS…
One more for the “Ordered Black Friday, label created on the 29th of December, no movement or response from support since then” camp. In Canada for what its worth
I’m out of the camp now, hope everyone gets out soon.
I’m from Germany, I ordered on December 25th but I haven’t received a printer yet and now I’ve decided to cancel my order, opened a ticket and got a response saying that DPD in Germany has a problem and the printer has already been shipped and I refuse to accept it and have to pay €30 for the return shipment.
Still no news on mine. Ordered mid December and no label, nothing, but people came in after and ordered and already have theirs. What gives? If I am to believe the new ETD of Jan 13th, which was not the case when I ordered mine, and they stated in the updated, that it would ship out like the 27th of Dec, then it won’t be until the end of this month or in Feb sometime before I get it. Not pleased.
Same here for order on November 29th. Received label on December 29 and no update or shipment to Ontario.
Order mine November 27th and it originally had a delivery date of Dec 22nd and it is why I had ordered this one. They took the money right away and it is now Jan 6th and I have not heard back from them at all. I have placed a ticket with 0 responses. What am I supposed to do now. And by reading this post it looks like Bambu created a bunch of fake UPS pick ups so customers would stop bugging them about the orders with no intention of actually send the items out. This is the worst customer service I have ever seen from any company. Now I am out 800 dollars. I am also in Canada. Did anyone else order by a Mastercard? I think if we all lodge a complaint with Mastercard they can do something about it.
