I recently ordered the Vision Encoder plate and was pleased to see that it included free delivery. When I received the order confirmation, my heart sank and I wondered if I will ever actually receive it, the delivery company…YODEL!
On the Yodel website it even states we do not need to deliver to a person…that usually means the parcel will get dumped somewhere and go missing without a doubt, especially where I live in Central London!
Why don’t companies do their due diligence and use respectable, reliable, and trustworthy delivery companies instead. I would have gladly paid for a Royal Mail delivery and known that I would have at least a high chance of getting my parcel without issues.
Will I be ordering any more accessories or consumables from Bambu Lab store…only if I know for a fact it isn’t going to be sent via Evri or Yodel. At a pinch DPD but even they are bad around here.

The right question is why delivery companies keep dumping deliveries on the sidewalk WITHOUT someone to be present and provide proof of order to sign the delivery.
This is outrageous. Here no company will deliver without the owners presence. Infact they avoid even to use the mailboxes and will cancel the delivery even if you are on the phone with the driver and ask him to put in the box or hide it somehow.
It blows my mind how you guys keep using their services instead of driving them to bankrupsy… Like here… yes pay me an absurd amount of money and ill throw it to your general direction… what…why… wh… im shortcirquiting myself here…
Whos to say the delivery guy doesnt have someone following him to gather anything he “delivers” if they see noone picks up within 2 minutes?
Just make them either change that bs policy or dont give them jobs… Simple.
Sorry about the rant but honestly thats absurd. I get it if its “sidewalk delivery” due to size/weight or even just because policy, but to blindly throw something potentially expensive on the sidewalk and drive away? Nah-ha… id rather just throw my money out the window instead, at least that way its gonna be fun watching people trample each other for couple of euros falling from the sky…
