Bambu Lab US shipping used parts instead of new ones :/

My X1C’s hotend somehow hit a large print while printing it, and now it’s out of alignment. So, NBD, I got a set of hotends that I had bought just in case.

I open the box, and I am greeted by a hot end that is not inside a bag (as the others are); further, the silicone sock is BOKEN, and the hotend is obviously used (melted filament around it), and it EVEN HAS FILAMENT IN IT. ???

The hotend was purchased a few months back, I suppose at a time when they had short supply, but dang… this is a new low… I never experienced this before: buying something like new, and getting an obviously used part instead. Not even with Amazon. BTW, I am an otherwise generous buyer from BL, from filaments, to extra pieces, two printers which I use for hobby purposes, and all accessories for each. Really disappointed.

See pictures as proof, including a comparison with another properly packaged, ACTUALLY NEW, hotend.

They pulled an amazon probably. Re-shipped a returned part. Customer probably said it was unsused.

Yep, @StreetSports . I just checked, and I bought this particular hotend on December 22nd, almost a year ago; they were shipping really fast and furious at the time (still, no excuses for this kind of thing).
Let’s see if Support takes ownership; I ordered replacements just in case, and will print on a .6 in the meanwhile.

BL Support replied quickly to the ticket I created about this, and started a replacement immediately. Very happy that BL is as upset about the fluke as I was.
