Hello there everyone,
Im trying to print the TT Furious Tourbillion and once it gets to a certain height my nozzle starts colliding with the print. Any help you could provide would be fantastic. I dont mind the issue and trying to solve it but I really dont want to keep wasting the filament. Much appreciated for any help that comes my way.
Is your print warping?
Nope not that I’m aware of. I’ll double check once I get home and get back to ya.
Generally speaking (unless something is mechanically wrong.) either the print is lifting off the surface. or the print, while you are printing it in spots, is curling upward from not having enough cooling or support. Which then the nozzle can hit.
Change your infill to gyroid or another pattern that does not cross lines on the same layer.
check your belt tension for the bed.
it was on gyroid, that was the first thing i tried
Also having this issue on my P1P, if I print one large object on its own I have no issues, if I print 2 or 3 of the same in one go, it hits the prints as it crosses from one to the other. On Gyroid, good quality filament.
Try increasing you z-hop.
