S i grabbed one of those multicolor led strips from the maker supply and it shows that you scan the QR code on the USB dongle to download the app Rhythm Pro to control it but the app never finds any device on Android or iPhone. Anyone have issue this same issue or know an app that will control it?
The older version of the app “Rhythm Lamp” (with the W logo) works on the iPhone, but my Android is too new to grab it from Google Play Store so I found the apk and side loaded it but it doesnt find anything. The newer app “Rhythm Pro” doesnt work on either phones. I’m fairly certain my android does see the bluetooth device in its bluetooth menu though. Anyone know an alternative app?
I have the same experience.

You must set the number of lights to 300 (at least for my set) and the line sequence to GRB.
It then functions correctly with my iPhone Pro Max and iPad Pro.
The supplied remote is next to useless.
The lack of a manual makes most of the remote features useless.
I have not sought a different app.
I will likely hook mine up to an Arduino project and forgo the remote it comes with.
Yeah I got the older app to work on both now, just sucks there seems to be many more light features and sequences via even the remote and pushing the button but the app only has like solid and strobe options. Hopefully theres another app out there that works better.
I would highly recommend getting a WLED controller to control the LED strips. WLED is WAY more advanced, and has a lot of cool features and built in patterns. You can get some cheap controllers here: https://www.athom.tech/blank-1/wled-sounds-reactive-slim-led-strip-controller
That was one of the few bits that worked.
Yeah, that being said, the controller is SUPER limited. Using the WLED app and a WLED compatible controller opens up a ton more possibilities than what’s provided out of the box.
