Bambu not shipping during postal strike

I ordered some accessories and parts for my X1 early in the morning on November 15th. The same day Canada Post went on strike. Later that morning I got a notification that they had created a Canada post shipping label. There has been no update since. I created a ticket enquiring about it on the 18th but have not gotten any response. I could understand if the package had been picked up but I ordered after the strike started. Are orders just piling up in shipping until the strike is over? Anyone else in the same situation?? I would be careful ordering in Canada. If it was stuck with Canada Post I would re order the parts as I really need them ASAP. I don’t want to re order the parts if they are just going to create another label.

Tried the shopify app and it was useless.

One of the many complaints about BL is just how poor their logistics are.

Unfortunately, they have little to no experience in handling these things. I doubt they even have anyone checking each day for logistical issues.

Canada Post is still shipping. The strikes rotate around so things still get processed, maybe just a day or two longer than usual if you happen to be in a strike location.

Normally when I order from BL they ship via UPS. It must depend on the location and package size.

I ordered filament on the 4th November and it’s still stuck with Canada post…
So, there’s that….

"Canada Post is not shipping. The Canada post outlets are open but they are not shipping. This is cut and pasted from their website.

The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has announced it intends to begin a national strike on Friday, November 15 at 12:01 a.m. ET.

Canada Post’s operations will shut down during a national strike, affecting millions of Canadians and businesses across the country.

Customers should expect delays

Customers will experience delays due to the strike activity. Mail and parcels will not be processed or delivered for the duration of the national strike, and some post offices will be closed. Service guarantees will be impacted for items already in the postal network. No new items will be accepted until the national disruption is over."

My order was after this press release so Canada Post does not have my package.

Hi. New Bambu guy here. I placed 3 orders last weekend. Two of the orders show “labels created” for Fedex and UPS on Monday. That has not changed in 4 days. I realize it’s a busy time of year and with postal strike things will take longer, but it seems odd that these two couriers have not picked up the orders. My first three orders were picked up within 1 business day after labels were created. I find it hard to believe these couriers are not picking up daily from Bambu Lab despite it being a very busy time…is this normal for this time of year?

Just imagine the business of shipping this time of year with all carriers in operation. Now shut one of them down, I’m sure it’s a scramble to rearrange new shipping for those that use the shutdown carrier, to those that aren’t, pushing them beyond capacity.

A month and a half later still no shipment. I made a support ticket to cancel order as I have bought the parts I needed from a reseller. They tell me it cannot be cancelled as it has been shipped. Both Canada post and Bambu tracking say " a label has been created" That’s not shipped. Reply from Bambu labs says to refuse delivery and I have to pay for shipping. Even that does not help when they don’t ship.
