I have a Bambu Lab P1S with AMS, and I want to create a lightbox using Bambu Studio.
My problem is that I need more colors than fit into the AMS.
Is there any way to do this?
For example:
Start the print with one color
Then switch to the next color
And when the first color is no longer needed, replace that spool with another color
So basically, is it possible to plan the print / color order in a way that one color is completely finished before the next one starts, so I can swap filaments during the print?
The colors are only needed on the lid, not on the whole model.
Do a search in YouTube, plenty of videos on how to do this. I believe I searched something like 5 colors 1 AMS, that was last week so I could be wrong.
I watched a video, but I actually need all 5 colors at the same time. There isn’t a single color that I no longer need after a certain layer, so the Homer Simpson video doesn’t work for my case.
Is it possible to use the external spool together with the AMS? Or how would you recommend implementing this in the best way?
There are videos for that also. A guy at work did it last week. 5 colors on 1 layer for several layers. I believe it is this one that explains it pretty good.
