Bambu PLA Glow in AMS Lite with A1 Mini?

Hey all! I’ve read all the horror stories here about people shredding up their plastic feeders on the AMS with Bambu’s PLA Glow, but has anyone successfully printed this filament with the AMS Lite into an A1 Mini?

Interestingly enough, Bambu now says that the filament is AMS compatible, but AMS lite is “not recommended”.

I have the Hardened Steel Extruder Gear Assembly and the hardened steel 0.4 mm nozzle and wanted to give this stuff a go.

Am I dumb for wanting to try this (I want to do a multi-colour print with 3 kinds of PLA glow) or am I rolling the dice here?

Any advice or success/failure stories would be appreciated! Thanks!

I know this topic is a bit necro, but as a newbie I feel compelled to reup this and also comment on it.
I’ve also read a lot of horror stories of parts being ruined by running glow filament through it. However, I have printed about 1.5kg using the glow filament through AMS lite on the A1 mini and haven’t seen any damage.
I have had issues with finishing a spool however. I get about 800 grams worth and then it keeps getting stuck. I get like 2 layers printed before it gets stuck again.

Hey thanks for letting me know! I still haven’t given my glow PLA a shot yet!
