Bambu PLA Silk filament instead of Generic Silk filament preset bug

I’m not sure if it’s related to the printer’s firmware or the Bambu Handy Windows application, but here are the steps. I have an X1C with AMS.

  1. Change filament in the AMS
  2. Set the filament to Generic and PLA Silk on the printer, adjust the color
  3. Go to the Windows version of Bambu Handy application
  4. Sync or Resync the filament information
  5. The software will select the Bambu PLA Silk preset instead of Generic PLA Silk.

I hope you can narrow down the issue. The firmware is the latest but the previous one also contained this bug.

Cheers

Odd, mine did the opposite. I’d select Bambu Labs Silk and get generic in the slicer.

Have you updated the slicer? I checked for new versions and after updating the slicer, I stopped getting that issue.

I use Ziro Silk, it prints better under the BL Silk profile.

Wow, that’s strange  Then something is definitely wrong here.
I’m using (I guess) the latest slicer version, 1.6.2.4, and eSUN PLA Silk.

I’ve had the exact same issue. Generic Silk → Bambu Silk.
