Been having too much ‘fin’ with my 3D printer, Originally I tried to just velcro on the fin but that quickly failed so currently the OG fin is bolted to the harness. Since then I’ve been redesigning the fin to attach with a cam (like a camera tripod) and I’m happy with the prototype.
There’s room for improvement. I will say it is tougher to use plasticity when it comes to getting the screws holes right since the isn’t any parametric to re-edit and the tool uses a destructive workflow.
It still is a fun project, I can’t wait for Halloween.
