So I’ve been trying to use the official BL PVA as support filament but I’m having no end of issues with it. First it was damp and very stringy so I dried it for 12 hours @ 80c like recommended. Afterwards it was printing fine until the 4th reel change and then it got trapped in the extruder. I had to disassembly the entire thing to get it out.
Fixed that up and dried the filament some more in the process. I then managed to get a successful print out of it, but only after the printer kept forgetting the PVA was in my AMS with each filament change. I had to manually remove it and feed it back in and try and get it to white light the AMS status
Does anyone else have these issues with BL PVA? and if so can you recommend a different brand that is maybe a bit more reliable.
