With Amazon AU it does not show clearly where GST is included and what is included in the import fees deposit. You can get this information once you have made your purchase and got the invoice.
I found it kind of dodgy.
If you use the Babbu Global printer price as the reference and add GST to it, it would match the price Amazon AU is showing at checkout. Does it mean GST is already included in the price? And what is included in the import fee deposit because it is way higher than customs import duty?
Another thing, with a 20% discount price of the printer is falling under 1K. Why is Amazon still charging import fee deposit?
DHL would deal with customs on your behalf. They will guide you to get the customs code and you will pay customs online through them. Not sure about the companies, with post services you have to deal with customs yourself, it’s not difficult.
