Bambu stops shipping to NZ but still lists it for gift card redemption

Sorry buddy, I just bought the last Prusa XL in NZ from marvel3d (one of Bambus recommended suppliers). Didn’t see the point in waiting for the new Bambu printer announcement, it’s most likely not going to do anything the prusa doesn’t, and will take months after release before it makes it into NZ.

Sounds more like a Ha ha, I beat ya to it but you go for it, I just worked out I could get it far , far cheaper direct anyway. It would also be a later version so possibly some of the multi head problems may be fixed… Once I’ve brought in one if I can understand what its up to and know if it will do what I want I may get another and join them together, 10 Heads would give me one black 8 colours and support material.

Enjoy.

Read up on the reverse engineered firmware under X1 Plus

All Bambu printers have been permanently ‘on sale’ in New Zealand at all resellers since this thread started. What nonsense :joy:

Super annoying went to buy a full hotend replacement of a different size and was thinking of getting some PLA and some new plates but couldnt place the order and their “distributers” dont stock most items, now have to place multiple orders with multiple stores to get some of the items, the plates dont seem to exist as well as most PLA colors. Having just purchased this printer I wasnt expecting this to be an issue, being a well established company.

You can use NZs YouShop, to ship it to an American address and then they will ship it to you.

Hope this helps

Hello everyone,

I realise this is an older thread, but I’d appreciate your insights on support in New Zealand. It’s been a while since the new reseller network was established, and I’m considering purchasing the H2S printer. I currently have an Ender 3 with extensive modifications. Everything I’ve researched suggests the H2S meets my needs, but there’s very little information available on support in NZ—particularly for parts and servicing.

None of the resellers have it in stock, and the earliest shipping date I’ve been quoted is early October. That makes me a bit uneasy. Could anyone using the H2S in New Zealand share their experience with support and parts availability?

If support proves unreliable, I might look at the K2 Max instead.

I’d really value any feedback or guidance. Thanks!
