Just swapped a filament in AMS for the first time since update. On the printer the PA profiles are showing but I wanted to confirm I selected the right one and in Bambu Studio and none of my PA profiles are showing up for selection (including those created for Bambu filaments). Anyone else seeing this?
Are you sure the correct nozzle is selected on the “Manage Results” page? My BS seems to like changing to .2 nozzle all of a sudden.
I’m having problems setting filaments in my AMS 2 via BS. After I make the filament changes and hit confirm all seems good then a second or two later the slot reverts back to the previous filament. The workaround has been to hit reset first then make changes and hit confirm.
yes this is in Device Tab, AMS Material Settings, PA Profile drop down list. this is where all calibrations saved are normally selectable.
I’m referring to the Calibration tab > Flow Dynamics> Manage Result button. The window is titled “Flow Dynamics Calibration Result”. There is a nozzle drop down in that window.
I’ve had instances where the printer/ams lost all the PA Profiles, under the device tab, in order to reload them I went into the Calibration tab > Flow Dynamics> Manage Result button> changed one of the entries and it forced a reload of the PA profiles in the device tab.
Is this also an issue in 2.6.0.51? The menu on the left is overlapping to the point I can’t see the filament choices.
Interesting enough they are all still there, but on AMS material settings not visible.
Opened a bug report, encourage anyone else having this issue to comment Bambu Studio 2.6.0.51 AMS Material Settings - Pressure Advance Profiles · Issue #10351 · bambulab/BambuStudio · GitHub
Me too, although I only had to open the “manage result” for the setting to appear on device tab
Even if you don’t use AMS, pressure advance setting is missing from filament settings.
This on Windows 11.
Really annoying all these issues since last BS updates…
Pressure advance is called “k value” and is only present in ams settings, it is not in the filament setting. When set in ams setting for a slot, it is applied when printing to that slot. So k value and flow ratio is in different places. (I just recently learnt this)
Ever since the last update I am also experiencing the same thing. I can go into my calibration page and see all of them under “manage calibration,” but when I go to the device page and select the PA drop-down, the only thing available is “default.”
I’ve logged out and back in, I’ve resynced the device, verified that the correct nozzle is selected, and most every other recommended troubleshooting step I could find. I’m currently in the process of completely uninstalling and reinstalling Bambu Studio as I type this. Aaaaannnnddd, it didn’t fix crap! Configs show up when checking calibration and manage results, but the PA select still only shows default.
My Flow Ratios all still show up on the project page, but my PA calibrations cannot be selected under the ams filament settings on the device page.
Has anyone heard anything back at all? Is it fixed in newer beta 2.07.x.x ?
Just verified 2.7.0.55 STILL HAS THIS SAME ISSUE.
Same old Bambu Labs issues back again. Almost like they don’t want us to use these amazing features that we were all sold on. Finally able to use my H2D since the low bed temp update, but none of my existing or new calibration settings work. Just love spinning my gears and wasting time.
Did anyone find a solution?
Workaround: Manually create PA profile in BambuStudio (if you don’t have one for your filament yet), then sync with printer and choose PA profile on the PRINTER’S SCREEN under Filament settings > Edit > PA Profile.
P1S, is impossible to choose on the screen, I think.
Really great support here Bambu, you’ve release like 5 updates and still haven’t addressed this issue via forums or the bug report. . . you’re just continuing to push us all to other companies.
