Bambu Studio 2.7.1.62 Coplanar Object Problem

I created a Flat card 1mm thick with a cut out to hang from a rear view mirror. When I select “Lay On Face” it shows multiple planes for the bottom face which I created as coplanar. The problem is this object has multiple parts, the card which is coplanar and texts parts which are flush within the bottom surface. Since Bambu Studio doesnt see this as coplanar some of the text parts disappear. I really miss the prusa splicer version that would cut anything below the print plane. Does anybody have a good solution? I tried to use cut but that doesn’t seem to work reliably either.

When you imported into Studio, did you do it as multiple pieces to a single thing where they all move together in Studio?

If you did, then the issue may be with how the parts were exported from whatever design program you used. I know in Fusion if you move parts from their desired positions and then save the parts, they come into Studio similarly displaced.

If the card actually has protrusions in its design, you may be able to move the asssembly where the parts you don’t want are below the build plate. Below the plate they just don’t print which might leave you with the flat surface you want.
