Sometimes i have no mouse nearby and come into struggle. i can´t pull the printplate in the right place without a mouse because i don´t have a third mouse click on the touchpad.
is there a trick or shortcut i haven´t figured out or how are you guy´s doing it?
On a Mac you can drag with two fingers but I guess you’re on Windows, right?
I am confused - I just right click and drag the plate to wherever I want it. What’s this with a middle-click? Touchpads vary in gestures, but there is usually a way to do what you are asking for.
yes i´m on win 10. it´s a dell xps 13 and configured with two finger right click but it´s not working in bambu studio this way.
with the hint on the click i figured out that i have a very small click area on the touchpad. with this click i can drag the plate. haven´t knew there is a rightclick for the last years
I also have an XPS13 (2017 model), though I don’t use this for 3D printing. Looking at the Touchpad settings in Win10, I see four checkboxes (all enabled on mine) for controlling how it works. One says “Tap with two fingers to right click” and another “Press the lower right corner of the touchpad to right-click”.
Mine is from 2017 too and i had the two boxes checked all the time but never could click right in the right bottom corner. today i tested the hole touchpad in the region and found out that i have to click directly on the edge in the bottom right corner. it´s a little bit tricky and i can´t catch the point 100% every time i click there. don´t know if it should be like this.
but now i can work with that
Reminds me I have an XPS touchscreen I need to fix. Will be following this to see if there’s a hood at to implement this.
It takes some trial and error, but you can change the zones where right clicks (or left click or keepout zones) land on the trackpad, lots of info here to get started:
(I guess Bambu doesn’t allow links… so…)
Google “regedit change trackpad regions” and look at the responses in Microsoft’s commuity forums
