I run a pc with both Ubuntu and Win10 on. They are are both in separate hard drives chosen when booting (not from the grub menu) by choosing the boot disc on startup. I run Bambu studio in Ubuntu but when running the Windoze side I decided to install Bambu Studio (just in case) on returning to Ubuntu I found that Bambu Studio was a non starter not even a flash of recognition on the screen from trying to run the Appimage, but that Orca booted and ran ok. After fishing around on the forums I found the answer was to remove BambuStudio from .config then it booted. Do’nt know why the Windows disk decided to mess with the Ubuntu side or if it was a coincidence? The command is “rm -rf ~/.config/BambuStudio” (no quotes) from a shell but be careful what you do, as Linux is not very forgiving at a prompt and will not ask you three times if your sure thats what you want to do.
I,m running linux on a Samsung chromebook and I cannot get either of the appimages to start. I have edited the properties to enable them to be started as an executable, but they still just sit there, doing nothing when I click on them or right click and select open? I have the latest Fuse installed but cannot for the life of me figure it out. Any help would be appreciated. (bear in mind that I am a relative linux novice!)
