Has anyone else have the problem that bambu studio crashes easily?
This hapens when i have multiple work spaces open OR even with 1 workspace but a lot of models in that workspace. This started hapening since the 2.0 update.
I thought this could be a memory issue? but then my ememory is on 70% and i still have 10gb left.
Anyone has any ideas?
No ideas, but you are not alone. We have two printers and if I have three windows open, CRASH!
I thought it was because I left them open too long, but now you have me thinking.

What version?
What OS version?
What are you doing when it crashes?
What does the detailed OS crash report say?
Start at item 4: using Event Viewer.

The data probably won’t mean much if you’re not a developer - but is incredibly helpful to developers trying to find the source of a crash.
just forced a crash, this is what it said

OK, not much visible there… but the crash type, location, and module (DLL) are the important bits.
If the Bambu engineers have the symbols for their build, then they can find exactly where it crashed in their code. (and if they don’t have symbols, they need to go back to high-school)
And it should remind them that they need to put a version number on their DLLs as well as the app (really, all code components should have versions).
I had lots of crashes with 2.0. I’m using a laptop but connected to monitors. On just the laptop screen all was fine. With the monitors it would crash all the time. I don’t know, but I think the cause is a usb driver in the nvidia drivers. My monitors are connected to a dock. I removed this driver and now it’s a lot more stable. Not sure if this helps at all.
Dell i9-14900, 64 GBRAM, Screen: 3440x1440
App crashes in best case only 80% of the slice-trials…
Just new into Bambulab… but… bit strange experience
Relative new computer,
so now updated all… e.g. BambuStudio 2.0.3.54 and W11 24H2
… but same problem… maybe even worse… Any idea?

You may want to check if there is an updated driver for your graphics card.
Thanks for the reminder, but at least Dell didnt provide anything which helped…
However the model is 1 year on the street… so not a new toy … basically a solid thing…
Fusion 360 works perfect even with huge models… so, guess a Bambulab issue…
I actually switched to Orca Studio recently after discovering that Bambu Studio removed all of my custom profiles for some of my prints and Orca left them alone, as it is a PITA to try and reinvent the wheel for some things that I had dialed in.
TLDR; Try using Orca Studio instead until the bugs are worked out in Bambu Studio.
