Hi everyone,
My Bambu Studio crashes whenever I go to change the filament in the Prepare tab, under Project Filaments, or if I click “Sync filament list from AMS”. This issue currently is only happening on my desktop and not my laptop, which leads me to think it’s a hardware issue. I’ve tried to turn off Threaded Optimization, as suggested my Google, but that hasn’t helped. I’m also running the latest version 2.4.0.70. My Nvidia drivers are up-to-date as well.
Has anyone had this same issue, and if so, what got it to work for you?
Thanks!
What OS? What OS version? What does the detailed crash report say?
Windows 11. Version 10.0.26100

The second and third lines say “The values of tray_info_idx and tray_type do not match tray_info_idx …”. I’m not sure what parameters these are referring to, but maybe this is indicative of an issue… Sorry if this seem obvious, this is a first for me. Learning as I go.
Unfortunately, the forum won’t let me attach the log file due to unsupported file type.
Well, unless you have the source code of the application, most of it won’t make sense.
But knowing more details helps the developers figure out the actual problem.
did you figure it out? I am having the same problem since the last two days
just went one version back and all is fine now, so probably a bug in the new version.
Any updates or ETA on getting this fixed? The software is almost unusable.
