I just got my AMS so I wanted to try and color in a model I made. Just one simple stripe with the “height range” tool. It is a simple model and this computer never had any issues with bambu studio or heavy games etc. But now I tried coloring this stripe Studio crashes every single time! I don’t understand why it would do this.
Bambu Version 1.10.1.50.
Windows 11, up to date on a computer that is build for gaming etc, but I use it remote via a screen sharing app on a mini pc.
And it doesn’t show a crash report! Nothing! It is so weird, the hole thing freezes, thinks about it for a minute and then just quits and closes the bambu studio screen.
I actually can paint a line with the height range tool type. It is slowwww, but it does work. And then when I exit the painting and go back to the plate it freezes and quits altogether
Remote access might be part of the issue, depending on how it uses the GPU for display.
Have you checked the system reports for crash dumps from Bambu Studio? Have you checked the Bambu Studio log files? Export the Bambu Studio log | Bambu Lab Wiki.
Ah interesting. I never had problems before running games etc. But I will check if the remote access is the problem.
I haven’t taken a look at the log files yet. Will do that tomorrow as soon as I get on the computer. Thank you!
