Bambu Studio - Error while slicing

Hi!

A part created by Fusion 360 has lettering on the top. I export this part as a .3mf file and open it in Bambu Studio. The part is displayed correctly, but after slicing, part of the lettering is missing from two letters. What can I do or am I doing wrong?

See attached 3MF-file …

How big are the letters? If the strokes get too narrow, the slicer may not be able to fit an extrusion into the space.

Parts of the U and the W are missing because they are thinner than the line width. Using the Arachne wall generator instead of Classic will fix the U, but a small part of the W is still missing. I think you would have to be looking for the missing bit in order to see the difference.

You’re kind of stuck then. If the details in the font are too small to print you might be able to use a finer nozzle but print time goes up. The other choices are bolding or changing the font but that’s iffy and might make other parts not get extruded, or use a larger font. If the design constrains font choices you might have to go with a smaller nozzle.

Try slicing after you tell it you’re using a smaller nozzle (even if you aren’t) and see if the letters don’t extrude properly. But don’t print with a big nozzle after telling the slicer it’s small. It may not let you but if it does the print will possibly be trash.

Thank you very much Ikraus! I tried it with the Arachne wall generator (upper lettering). The missing parts are there now, but the surface quality is a bit worse in my opinion. Do you have any other tips?

And one more question: will the Arachne wall generator change any other parts of this work piece?
