Bambu Studio factory reset

Something went wrong in studio and I cannot seem to fix it. The ams thinks that all filament is hips. I have to select hips in all slots or it will not print when using PTEG. I have uninstalled and reinstalled studio but it keeps the same profile. I have searched but cannot find the location of the config file. I have a X1C printer and running windows 10.

Can you reset each slot from the touch screen on the printer? That has helped me before.

I don’t know if this will help with your problem, but the Studio configuration files can be located from the Help menu:

I’m not clear about the exact point where printing fails.

If you can’t select PETG in the Prepare tab, try checking to verify that other filaments are being made available in the filament setup:

Thanks for the reply. I can but the problem is with the slicer. It will not let me print with PETG unless I select hips in the slicer. No problems with PLA.

Thanks for the reply. I have learned much from your help. I need to create a json file to create my own filament type in studio as a work around. I cannot find any help on actually resetting studio to factory settings so this is going to be my approach.
