Bambu Studio not saving updated access code

About a week after I got my P1S, I inadvertently told it to generate a new access code… now for the past 4 months, anytime I try to “send” a print to the printer, it pops up and says it can’t connect, but shows the original access code… I change it the new/corrected access code and it sends the print… the next time I go to send a print, it does the exact same thing.
Does anyone know where it is storing this value, so I can change it and not have to enter it ever time?

Same problem here. Have you found any solution?

yes, it was completely unintuitive: you have to remove the printer (logout of the printer via the device page), then re-add it; at this point it remembers the change (until you change it again.)

Thanks. After playing around for a while, that was the solution I came up with as well.

You could also try editing the file called BambuStudio.conf directly. Use “Show configuration folder” from the menu to find it. I haven’t had your problem but I noticed it sometimes adds a literal “\n” (this is often used as a placeholder or escape code for “newline”) after the code but before the ending quote. I have no idea when or why it happens but it doesn’t seem to cause any trouble,

ah I got the same issue with 1 printer. every time loses the code and wants the serial number. so annoying. will try as suggested thanks.
