I have a few almost but not entirely empty bambu spools of standard Bambu PLA. They were recognised fine when I last used them. I put them in today to make some small prints (clips etc) and specifically wanted the automatic fallover to work as the first of the two black spools ran out. (There was also a white spool but I’m not using that yet, waiting for my full white spool to finish drying). Unfortunately the AMS only recognises the (equally nearly empty) white spool in slot 3, not the two black spools in slots 1 and 2. I’ve powered off and on; I’ve withdrawn the two unrecognised spools and reinserted them - no joy. They’re usable but have to be manually configured. No amount of synching or playing with the sync options will cause them to be recognised. They have tags and worked before. What might be the cause of this?
I don’t think it’s related but just for full details, I inserted these after having cleared a broken filament in slot 4. I left slot 4 empty after clearing it since I didn’t want to confuse things with anything other than the three almost-empty spools I am trying to use up. The filament that was previously in slot 1 was a non-bambu filament (as was the one in slot 4) but the one in slot 2 was the same Bambu basic black that’s there now and the one in slot 3 was Bambu ABS but it wasn’t recognised either.
