The rotate feature within Bambu Studio is usable, however on smaller parts, I find myself zoomed in and rotate only to find that rotating pushed the parts off screen. The center origin of the selected build plate does not seem adequate for the base of the rotate function. Could we get this feature to rotate based on the center of the build plane in view? This would keep whatever parts we are focusing on in the window as we rotate. This wouldn’t require selecting a new build plate or an object. Only to rotate freely in a more natural manner. Thank you for all your hard work! A year and 3 months later, my X1C is still the beast it was on day 1. (Minus one faulty AMS slot) You guys are awesome!

Hugely agree. Just moved from Cura from my Ender 3, and this difference drives me crazy when zoomed into parts. Be great to please make it a setting just like “Zoom to mouse position” - please also support “Rotate around mouse position” (and viewpoint, as you state). Thank you for raising this!
Yeah… im trying to do some size comparison… but im having a really hard time propertly positioning my viewpoint to accuratly measure. Having an “orbit” tool similar to fusion where you can click on the point and then orbit around that is so helpfu.
OrcaSlicer has a rotation cube that helps quite a bit.
