Every now and then this would be super helpful. Both on the prepare screen and the preview screen. Sometimes ya gotta see inside something.
I want that too. I think it is there but I don’t know how to activate.
I need it just often enough to forget how.
A work around is: slice and roll back.
I’m trying to place primitives and negatives to quickly add a keychain to a thin walled object and I want to trim the inside face just to keep it looking tidy. I can’t do this as the shell gets into he way of the left/right/top/bottom views
A lot of what I want can be done from the assembly view, but I cannot see or interact with the negative objects as they’re not rendered in the 3d viewport
Ok so a quick play with the assembly view and I got to where I needed to be. In the main screen I changed the negative to a solid (so I could interact with it in the assembly view) I then went to the assembly view and used the section view to get me a section, and then move/scale buttons (the keyboard shortcuts didnt work) and I was then able to position the part (althought pulling the various arrows on the gizmo didnt always have any/the desired effect, its a bit broken). Anyhow, then moved back to the main view, and changed the solid back to a negative, and job done.
Hope this helps others.
